Pustakada Mane...Kunti Betta..Venugopalaswamy Temple in KRS Backwater..a zooming drive!!

Oh no.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I started feeling what the real delivery pain all about..in a typical bouncy pitch..how Indian Batsman fall like a cycles in the cycle stand..like wise...the wickets started trembling...

Finally from an eleven vagabonds ..we became six pirates....Sandeep, Yashdeep, Latesh, Anil, Raghu, and Myself.

We started from our customary pooja to our chariot....by 7.30 we zoomed past "porn site" aka ashrama in Bidadi..

Saint requested he would like to have breakfast in Kadamba near Maddur, from where he had breakfast in his first trip with us to Shivana Samudra about two years back.

We were cruising along the mysore road, took turn towards Pandava Pura..Sunil screamed.."Sir..do you want me to stop here...the Jaggery Manufacturing Yard (Aalemane)...

The sweet sugar cane juice, the sugar cane juice turning in to the thick paste..which turn in to even thicker paste to get moulded into the jaggery.

The sight of the great efforts of sugar cane undergoing all the crushing, boiling, filtering..and getting mixed with other things to get moulded in to a nice model...what a lesson to be learnt!!! a lesson for the life..

Headed to Kunti betta...this is a hillock..you imagine a shape of anything under the sun..you will get to see here..superb place..when we started hiking to reach the pinnacle..the sky opened up little..and we thwarted any plan to reach the top.... had nice fun over there...photo session scooped up..the pranks, jokes everything on a swan song....

All of us were eagerly wanted to get in the island of Saraswathi...the Pustakada Mane or House of Books. When we landed their...the ever talking gentlemen suddenly become quiet..and they stated getting to be drowned in the ocean of books..

As Sri. Ankegowdaru was in Bengaluru, as chief minister requested him to meet him in Bengaluru to discuss on the approved facilities for the libary,  his friends Sri. Chandrashekaraih, Sri. Dhanya Kumar,  and Mrs. Ankegowda explained to us the effort of setting up of this library.  It was a wonderful effort all the way.

Please visit this place on any days, just make sure you call and visit as people will be there to explain all about their efforts.  The address and contact details are as below.

When we left the premises..every one was visiting mouthshut.com..as they were married with tower of silence to enjoy the silence of swimming in the feel of ocean of books.

Our final destination for the day was "Venugopalaswamy temple in the back waters of KRS dam".  The temple looked stunning even though restoration work is going on. When the KRS dam is to be brim, and it throws up the magnificent landscape...just have a look at few shots of the landscape.

Eventually it was a memorable outing..even though we were short of the enthusiastic people Prashanth, Kishore, Soma Shekar..but still we could be able to pull the strings to make it a wonderful outing from the mundane busy life of Bengaluru, and it reflects in the picture below!!!! A perfect send off to Saint (Yashdeep sant) who decided to move away from Bangalore.

  1. Ah.. Wonderful blog Sri. I feel happy to be just reading it. I feel I've lived some of those moments in the photographs. At same time Im a little sad for missing this trip and that Saint may not be joining us in our future trips.

Anyways one can only hope that the future will bring better things and maybe we can accomodate trips which Saint can join from Pune too. Lets work on the logistics.

  7. I went to Kunti Betta in July, 2014 for trekking and it was an amazing experience. A must visit place for one day trek and other activities like kayaking, rock climbing, rapelling, camping etc
