We awaken the God within us - - Melukote, Rayagopura, Chamundi, Aprameya!

Vyasa Maharishi told Dhritarashtra, "Hey king, I will give you sight.. You can see the war that will take place in Kurukshetra."

"Maharshi, I did not see the childhood of my children.. I did not see their childhood days.. I did not see their adventures. Now I cannot see them fighting .. How can I recognize them who have not seen them all my life.. No, I do not want sight.. Instead, give that wonderful sight to my charioteer Sanjaya"

Truly, this is a difficult situation.. Everyone has such experiences in life in one way or another..

Melukote is a wonderful place. Cheluvanarayana Swamy Temple, Narasimha Swamy Temple, Raya Gopuram.. Akka Thangi ponds, Kalyani, Mantapa are all amazing.. But I had seen them in many films.. I was not lucky enough to see them in person.. Except for going on a bike fourteen years ago.. I could not see them again..

Maybe God sent a wonderful person for me.. My manager planned for Melukote.. he requested my company... without blinking i said yes and i was on with him!

When I saw him in Shuddha Iyengar's attire, I thought, oh, I could have come wearing a dhoti.. :-)

When I traveled listening to the wonderful moments in his life in his narration, I had the experience of being in awe many times..

His love and devotion for Lord Narasimha, his grace for Goddess Mahalakshmi, miracles that happened in his life.. When I heard so many moments like this, I felt like this is the moment i was waiting to get energisec.. .

When we reached the temple .. not yet opened..  temple staff said please wait for half an hour .. we were walking around to pass the time.. some pictures were captured by our mobile camera..

The door of the temple opened.. we went inside .. they had decorated the idol of Cheluvanarayana Swamy.. .. we had a momentary darshan.. they put the curtain up again.. chanting of mantras took place.. more than an hour of chanting of mantras, shlokas.. we were absorbed in that amazing place.. we were in kind of transe .. we were not in any hurry to go to next place nor we were in any hurry to leave.

At that moment, we were immersed in the company of that divine power..

After taking all the auspicious offerings, theertha, and prasadam, we once again bowed to the beautiful Sri Cheluvanarayanaswamy.. and set off...

The Rai Gopuram, which has attracted many movies for shooting, was our next stop..

I told the little I knew about that place, about the half-standing temple.. The plaque there also explained the same.. I was amazed by its grandeur and wondered if this temple was complete.. if if if if if .... There is no answer to this question, if if if... correct know?

When I saw Narasimha Swami sitting on a hill of about 600 plus steps.. I had the same experience like earlier.. The chanting of mantras, the ringing of bells, theertha, and prasadam made my mind go wild..

I immediately felt that.. even though nothing fell into my stomach.. I wondered what the reason for our enthusiasm was. I understood.. When God is with us, hunger, thirst, fatigue are just words..

From there, we left to the power of Mahashakti Maya in our minds and went to the place of Chamundeshwari or Chamundishwari.. Mysore is her home and standing on the hill.. the darshan of the mother who killed Mahishasura, the goddesses took the responsibility of protecting Mysore..

At the beginning, the darshan of Mahishasura.. then the grace of Mother Chamundi.. .. In the middle, the darshan of the mother..  Oh, my mind was a bird with joy..

Before coming here, I had finished my meal and my energy increased.. After explaining the history of Mysore and the places around it, we arrived at another wonderful place..

Sri Purandara Dasaru which is said to have composed the work "Adisidaloshade Jagadoddharana", written under the pseudonym Vitthala in the temple of Aprameya... 

This temple is a wonderful gathering of Rama and Krishna..

History says that Lord Sri Ramachandra came here and worshipped..

The childhood pastime of Sri Krishna, known as Ambegalu Krishna, Navneeta Krishna, etc., is visible.. The magnificent temple made our minds bloom..

We were returning to Bangalore.. When we simply remembered our whole day's trip, the Lord asked, "You have woken me up in all the temples, worshipped me and prayed.. Now I will do something to brighten the success that is with you even more." When he said, our minds went wild..

Yes, we woke up that great divine from his yoga sleep in Sri Cheluvanarayana Swamy temple and worshipped him..

Similarly, we also worshipped the Narasimha deity on the Melukote hill.

Then Godesses Chamundi was already giving us darshan, but we were given a special blessings by her...

We went inside as soon as the door opened in the Aprameya temple..

Together, we awakened the God within us, worshipped him, sang his praises, and received blessings from him. Our day was meaningful.. This is what our mind, as light as a flower, kept saying over and over again..

ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಜಾಗೃತಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಕ್ಷಣ! - ಮೇಲುಕೋಟೆ, ರಾಯಗೋಪುರ, ಚಾಮುಂಡಿ, ಅಪ್ರಮೇಯ!

 ವ್ಯಾಸ ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳು ದೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರನಿಗೆ "ಹೇ ರಾಜನ್ ನಿನಗೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.. ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಡೆಯುವ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ನೀ ನೋಡಬಹುದು" 

"ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬಾಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.. ಅವರ ಆಟಪಾಠಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.. ಅವರ ಸಾಹಸಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಈಗ ಅವರು ಹೊಡೆದಾಡಿ ಸಾಯುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗದು.. ಶವಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಿ.. ಇಡೀ ಜೀವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನೋಡದೆ ಮುದ್ದಾಡಿದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಗೆ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಿ.. ಬೇಡ ನನಗೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಬೇಡ.. ಬದಲಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಾರಥಿ ಸಂಜಯನಿಗೆ ಆ ಅದ್ಭುತ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ನೀಡಿ" 

ನಿಜ ಇದೊಂದು ಕಠಿಣ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶ.. ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಅನುಭವಗಳು ಒಂದಲ್ಲ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.. 

ಮೇಲುಕೋಟೆ ಇದೊಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ. ಚೆಲುವನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ, ನರಸಿಂಹ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ, ರಾಯ ಗೋಪುರ.. ಅಕ್ಕ ತಂಗಿ ಕೊಳ, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಿ, ಮಂಟಪ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಅದ್ಭುತ.. ಆದರೆ ಅನೇಕಾನೇಕ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದ ನನಗೆ.. ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುವ ಭಾಗ್ಯವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.. ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬೈಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ.. ಮತ್ತೆ ನೋಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.. 

ಬಹುಶಃ ಭಗವಂತ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅದ್ಭುತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಕಳಿಸಿದ್ದ ಅನಿಸುತ್ತೆ.. ನನ್ನ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೇಲುಕೋಟೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಬನ್ನಿ.. ನನಗೂ ಕಂಪನಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದಾಗ ಎರಡು ಮಾತಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡೆ.. 

ಶುದ್ಧ ಅಯ್ಯಂಗಾರ್ ದಿರುಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಅಯ್ಯೋ ನಾನು ಪಂಚೆ ಉಟ್ಟು ಬರಬಹುದಿತ್ತು ಅನಿಸಿದ್ದು ಸುಳ್ಳಲ್ಲ.. 

ಅವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಡೆದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಪಯಣಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅನೇಕ ಬಾರಿ ಮೈ ಜುಮ್ ಎನಿಸಿದ ಅನುಭವ ದಕ್ಕಿತ್ತು.. 

ಅವರ ನರಸಿಂಹ ದೇವರ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಭಕ್ತಿ, ಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ದೇವಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ, ಅವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಡೆದ ಪವಾಡಸದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು .. ಹೀಗೆ ಅನೇಕಾನೇಕ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅಬ್ಬಬ್ಬಾ ಎನಿಸಿತು.. 

ಮೇಲುಕೋಟೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ.. ದೇವಾಲಯ ಇನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.. ಅರ್ಧಘಂಟೆ ಕಾಯಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂಧಿ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ.. ಸರಿ ಎಂದು ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು.. ಕೆಲವು ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾ ಸೇರಿತು.. 

ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತೆರೆಯಿತು.. ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋದೆವು.. ಅಲಂಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.. ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದ ದರ್ಶನವಾಯಿತು.. ಮತ್ತೆ ಪರದೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.. ಮಂತ್ರಘೋಷಗಳು ನೆಡೆದವು.. ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ಘಂಟೆಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂತ್ರ ಪಠಣ, ಶ್ಲೋಕಗಳು.. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಲ್ಲೀನಗೊಳಿಸಿದವು.. ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ನಮ್ಮ ಅವಸರವೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.. ಹೊರಡಲೇ ಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಕಾತುರತೆಯೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. 

ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಮೈಮರೆತು ಆ ದೇವರ ಸಮಾಗಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೀನವಾಗಿದ್ದೆವು.. 

ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿ, ತೀರ್ಥ, ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಚೆಲುವಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಚೆಲುವನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ.. ಹೊರಟೆವು... 

ಅನೇಕ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾದ ರಾಯಗೋಪುರ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದಿನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು.. 

ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಅರ್ಧ ನಿಂತ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದ ಪುಟ್ಟ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನುಹೇಳಿದೆ .. ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಫಲಕ ಕೂಡ ಅದನ್ನೇ ವಿವರಿಸಿತು.. ಅದರ ಭವ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿದ್ದರೇ.. ರೇ ರೇ ರೇ ರೇ.. ಈ ರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಿಲ್ಲ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ.. 

ಸುಮಾರು ೬೦೦ ಪ್ಲಸ್ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆ ನಿಂತ ನರಸಿಂಹದೇವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ.. ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದೆ ಅನುಭವ.. ಮಂತ್ರಘೋಷಗಳು, ಘಂಟಾನಾದ, ತೀರ್ಥ, ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹುರಿ ಗೊಳಿಸಿತು.. 

ಆಗಲೇ ಅನುಭವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು.. ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಏನೂ ಬೀಳದಿದ್ದರೂ.. ನಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದ ಚಿಲುಮೆ ಉಕ್ಕಲು ಕಾರಣವೇನು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಿತು.. ಭಗವಂತ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ಹಸಿವು, ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆ, ಆಯಾಸ ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ಪದಗಳಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ.. 

ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ನಾವು ಮಹಾಶಕ್ತಿ ಮಾಯೆಯನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದು ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ಅಥವ ಚಾಮುಂಡೀಶ್ವರಿ ತಾಣಕ್ಕೆ.. ಮೈಸೂರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು.. ಮಹಿಷಾಸುರನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ ಊರು ಮೈಸೂರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಹೊಣೆ ಹೊತ್ತ ತಾಯಿಯ ದರ್ಶನ.. 

ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಷಾಸುರನ ದರ್ಶನ.. ನಂತರ ತಾಯಿ ಚಾಮುಂಡಿಯ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ.. ಜನಜಂಗುಳಿ.. ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ದರ್ಶನ.. ಕುಂಕುಮ, ಹೂವು.. ಆಹಾ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ಹಕ್ಕಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.. 

ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಮುಂಚೆ ಊಟದ ಆಟ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಹುರುಪು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿತ್ತು.. ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಇತಿಹಾಸ, ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲ ತಾಣಗಳು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನೆಲೆಗೆ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಜಾಗಕ್ಕೆ.. 

ಅದುವೇ ದಾಸರೆಂದರೆ ದಾಸರಯ್ಯ ಪುರಂದರದಾಸರಯ್ಯ ಎನ್ನುವ ನಾಣ್ಣುಡಿಯಂತೆ ಪುರಂದರ ವಿಠಲ ಎಂಬ ಅಂಕಿತನಾಮದಿಂದ ರಚಿಸಿದ "ಆಡಿಸಿದಳೋಶದೇ ಜಗದೋದ್ಧಾರನ" ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ರಮೇಯ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ. 

ರಾಮ ಕೃಷ್ಣರ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸಮಾಗಮ ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ.. 

ಪ್ರಭು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ..

ಅಂಬೆಗಾಲು ಕೃಷ್ಣ ನವನೀತ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೆಸರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಬಾಲ್ಯ ಲೀಲೆ ಕಾಣುವಂತಹ ಮೂರ್ತಿ.. ಭವ್ಯ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಅರಳಿಸಿತು.. 

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೇನೂ ವಾಪಸ್ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು.. ಹಾಗೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಇಡೀ ದಿನದ ಪ್ರವಾಸವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಭಗವಂತ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದು "ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿರಿ.. ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಗಿರುವ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವೆ" ಎಂದಾಗ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಉಘೇ ಉಘೇ ಎಂದಿತು.. 

ಹೌದು ಶ್ರೀ ಚೆಲುವನಾರಾಯಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಮಹಾಮಹಿಮನನ್ನು ಯೋಗನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಪೂಜಸಿ ಬಂದಿದೆವು.. 

ಮೇಲುಕೋಟೆಯ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲಿನ ನರಸಿಂಹ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ ಹಾಗೆ 

ನಂತರ ಚಾಮುಂಡಿ ತಾಯಿ ಆಗಲೇ ದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ನಮಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ನೀಡಿದಳು ಆ ತಾಯಿ.. 

ಅಪ್ರಮೇಯ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತೆರೆದೊಡನೆ ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆವು.. 

ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಿ ಆತನ ಗುಣಗಾನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಆತನಿಂದ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಪಡೆದ ನಮ್ಮ ದಿನ ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆ ಕಂಡಿತ್ತು.. ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಹೂವಿನಷ್ಟು ಹಗುರಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಇದನ್ನೇ ಹೇಳುತಿತ್ತು..
