ಶಿರಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂಪು ಕೊಡುವ ಸಿರ್ಸಿ...ಒಂದು ಸುತ್ತು - ಭಾಗ ೧

ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಕಾದ್ದು ಬೇಡವಾದ್ದು ವಿಚಾರಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಒಂದು ಸಮರವೇ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು..ಹಾಗೆ ಮನಸು ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದಾಗ.."ಏನು ಮಾಡಲಿ ನಾನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ" ತ್ರಿಮೂರ್ತಿಯ  ಅಣ್ಣಾವ್ರ ಹಾಡು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬಂತು..ಹಾಗೆಯೇ "ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಂಗೆಲ್ಲ ಸಾಗದು ಜೀವನ ಗೆಳೆಯ..ವಿಧಿಯ ಆ ಆಟ"..ಮಲ್ಲ ಚಿತ್ರದ ರವಿ ಮಾಮನ ಹಾಡು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬಂತು..

ಸರಿ ಒಂದು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲ ಸುತ್ತ ಮುತ್ತಲಿನ  ಪ್ರಪಂಚ ಬಿಟ್ಟು...ಶ್ರೀಯ ಪರಪಂಚದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ  ಹಾಕೋಣ ಅನ್ನಿಸಿತು ..ಶಿರಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಯೋಚನೆ ಶಿರಸಿ (ಸಿರ್ಸಿ) ಪ್ರವಾಸ...ಮರುಯೋಚನೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲೆಮಾರಿಗಳು ತಂಡದ ಕಾಯಂ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಸಂದೀಪ್, ಲತೇಶ್ , ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದರು, ರಘು ಕೂಡ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು..ಸರಿ ಅಲೆಮಾರಿಗಳು ತಂಡದ ಐದು ಮಂದಿಯ ಗುಂಪು ಸಿರ್ಸಿಗೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಯಿತು.

 ಅಲೆಮಾರಿಗಳು!!!

ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಈ ಸುಂದರ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಶತಮಾನಗಳಷ್ಟು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಿತು.

ಈ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವುದಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಅದರ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ಕಾರದ ಅನುಭವ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಈ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಲೆಮಾರಿಗಳು ತಂಡದ ಒಂದು ರಮಣೀಯ ಪರ್ವ ಎನ್ನಬಹುದು..

ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂದೇವಿಯ ಮಕುಟದ ನವಮಣಿಯಾದ ಕರುನಾಡ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಅನರ್ಘ್ಯ ರತ್ನ ಕೊಡೋಣ ಅಂತ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆವು..ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರವಾಸದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಗುರುತು ಗಮನಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಮಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಯಿತು..ಅರೆ..ರತ್ನ ಕೊಡೋಣ ಅಂದ್ರೆ..ಕೌಸ್ತುಭ ಹಾರವೇ ಆಯಿತು..ನೀವೇ ನೋಡಿ!!!

Trip to Sirsi Curtain Raiser - The Journey with the time!!! - Part I

Hi Buddy..when we are planning for a sirsi trip?...

A FAQ in last one month in our group..for the sole reason that...vehicle was arranged, members were almost prepared with the luggage, finally a steep back out..derailed the most awaited Sirsi trip from the Alemarigalu Group. 

Four of us determined that, come whatever it may, will make sure a gem of a trip will decorate the crown of "Alemarigalu group"..

October 12th 2012, dotted the calendar..and the final list prepared, and posted on the vehicle.  Before that there was lot of discussion, suggestion, and guidance came pouring from Balu Sir of "Nimmolagobba Balu", Prakash Hegde of "Ittige Cement", and Prashanth Kishan of "Road Bloke" blogs and tit bits information from Sandeep K B of "Between the Books".

Heart storming with lots and lots up and downs questions, the graph neither uprising nor steady, Body and Soul demanded a demanding outing to get engulfed with the mother nature. So without any doubt in the mind, the body was slowly getting in to the track of one of the beautiful trip in our group, where we almost created a record sort of travelling distance touching 1500 Kms :-)

Our journey with the time traveled from as early as 2nd century to 21st century!!!..Our energy munching trip flowed all the way through the Temples, Historical Monuments, Rivers, Water Falls, and culminated in the ocean just like any river which originates from a small vent, and flows all the way to its destination!!!

ಶ್ರೀ ರೇವಣಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟ + ಶ್ರೀ ಅಂಬೆಗಾಲು ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ + ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ವಯ್ನ್ ಯಾರ್ಡ್ 09.09.2012

ಸಿರ್ಸಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಕಾರಣಾಂತರಗಳಿಂದ  ಶಿರಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಹಾರಿ ಹೋಯಿತು.

ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ಸರಿ ಭಾನುವಾರ  ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಒತ್ತಾಯ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರ ಶ್ರೀ ರೇವಣಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟ, ಮತ್ತು ಚನ್ನಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಳಿ ಇರುವ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ವಯ್ನ್ ಯಾರ್ಡ್!

ನನ್ನ ಎರಡನೇ ಕೂಸಿಗೆ ವರುಷದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ನಾನು ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಕುಣಿದಾಡಿತು, ಸರಿ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು ೬.೩೦ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟೆ, ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ರನ್ನು  ಹತ್ತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ರಾಮನಗರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಪಯಣ ಶುರುವಾಯಿತು.  ಕಳೆದ ವಾರ ತಾನೇ ತನ್ನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ನನ್ನ ಕೂಸು..ಯಾವುದೇ ತೊಂದರೆ, ಅಡಚಣೆ ಕೊಡದೆ ಸರಾಗವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರೇವಣಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತಪ್ಪಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು.

ದೇವಿ  ರೇಣುಕಾಂಬೆಯ  ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ

ಕೆಲ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಿ  ರೇಣುಕಾಂಬೆಯ ದರುಶನ ಪಡೆದು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದೆವು. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ, ಸುತ್ತ ಮುತ್ತಲು ಹಸುರಿನ ಹಾಸು, ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ ಮನಸೆಳೆಯಿತು.. ಆದ್ರೆ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅರ್ಚಕರಿಗೆ ನಮಗಿಂತ  ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸುದ್ದಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಎನ್ನಿಸಿರಬೇಕು..ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಇಲ್ಲ...ಮುಖ ಕೂಡ ತೋರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ...ಇನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿ, ತೀರ್ಥ  ದೂರವೇ ಉಳಿಯಿತು. ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದೆವು...ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಒಂದು ಅಂಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಲಿದ್ದ ಛಾಯ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ..ಬನ್ನಿ ಸರ್ ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನು ಬೇಕು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀವಿ ಅಂದ್ರು..ನಾನು ಏನು ಎಂದೇ..ನೀವು ಟಿ.ವಿ.೯ ರವರು ಅಲ್ವ..ಬನ್ನಿ ಹೇಳ್ತೇವೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಂತ ಕೂಗಿದರು..(ನಮ್ಮ ಸುಂದರ ಹವ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಎಂತಹ .....ಹೆಸರು...ಹ ಹ) ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ತೊಂಭತ್ತು  ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನ ತೋರಿಸಿ, ಬೇಡ ನಾವು ಚಾರಣಿಗರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಹೊರಟೆವು.

ಘಟ್ಟದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ರಸ್ತೆ!!

ಸುಮಾರು ೩೦೦-೪೦೦ ಮೀಟರ್ ಘಟ್ಟದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ರಸ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂಸನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೊರಟೆವು. ಎಲ್ಲ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತಾಣಗಳಂತೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೋತಿಗಳ ಹಾವಳಿ ಅಪಾರ.  ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ, ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ತುತ್ತ ತುದಿ ತಲುಪಲು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದೆವು..ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಲಿದ್ದ ಆಟಿಕೆ ಅದರ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತಿತ್ತು.ಇತರ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತರಲೆ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತ, ಅವರ ಊರು,ಕೇರಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹತ್ತಿದೆವು.

 ಶ್ರೀ ಭೀಮೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ

ಕೆಲ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಅತಿ ವಯಾಸ್ಸಾಗಿರುವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಹತ್ತುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೀಮೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ (ಪಾಂಡವರು ವನವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಭೀಮನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಈಶ್ವರ ಲಿಂಗ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಎಂದೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ) ,  ಎಂದೂ ಬತ್ತದ ಕೊಳ ಇದೆ.  ಒಂದು ಹೆಬ್ಬಂಡೆಯ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಅಥವಾ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.  ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗದಿಂದ ರಾಮನಗರ, ಚನ್ನಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸುತ್ತ ಮುತ್ತ ಇರುವ ಹಸಿರಿನ ಸಿರಿ, ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಚೆಲುವು ತನ್ನ ವಿಹಂಗಮ ನೋಟವನ್ನು ಕಾದಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು

ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಹತ್ತಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಘಂಟೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿತು.

ದೊಡ್ಡ ಘಂಟೆ

ಎದುರು ಬದರು ಎರಡು ಶಿವಲಿಂಗಗಳ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕೆಲ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳನ್ನ ಇಳಿದರೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಶ್ರೀ ರೇವಣ ಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಎಲ್ಲವು ಸೊಗಸಾಗಿದೆ.

 ಶ್ರೀ ರೇವಣ ಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರರ  ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ

ಸುಮಾರು ೬೦೦-೭೦೦ ವರುಷಗಳಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ರೇವಣ ಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸುತ್ತ ಮುತ್ತ ಇರುವ ಕೆಲ ಗುಹೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡುತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನತೆ ನಂಬುತ್ತದೆ, ಹಾಗು ಕಷ್ಟ, ಇಷ್ಟ ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವ ತಾಣ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ಘಂಟೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುತ್ತ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದೆವು. ನಮ್ಮ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಒಡಲು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.  ಮನಸು ಸಂತಸದಿಂದ ಹಕ್ಕಿಯಾಗೆ ಹಾರಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಸಂದೀಪ್ ತಮ್ಮ ರಿಮೋಟಿನಿಂದ ಚಿತ್ರ ತೆಗೆಯುವ ಸಾಹಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಆನಂದಮಯ...ಪರಮಾನಂದಮಯ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ..ರಾಮಾಪ್ರಮೇಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಬೆಗಾಲು ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆವು. ಸುಮಾರು ಶತಮಾನಗಳು ಹಳೆಯದಾದ ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಚನ್ನಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇದೆ. ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಿಂದ ಕೇವಲ ೧೦೦ ಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ..ಇದೊಂದು ಸುವರ್ಣಾವಾಕಾಶ ಎಂದೂ ನುಗ್ಗಿದೆವು.

 ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಾಪ್ರಮೇಯ ಮತ್ತು  ಶ್ರೀ  ಅಂಬೆಗಾಲು  ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ 

ಅಣ್ಣಾವ್ರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರಾವಣ ಬಂತು   ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ ಅನುಭವ ನನಗಾಯ್ತು.

ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅಣ್ಣಾವ್ರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರಾವಣ ಬಂತು ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಅನುಭವ ನನಗಾಯ್ತು..ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಇದೆ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ವಾಹನ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಭಾವ..ಇದನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಬ್ಬರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆ..ಅವರು ಒಹ್ ಹೌದಾ!  ಎಂದರು...ಮೊದಲೇ ತರಲೆ ಮಾಡುವ ನಾನು, ನನ್ನ ಭಾವನೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಹಾಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೋರಿತೇನೋ ಅಥವಾ ಇರಬಹುದು...ಅವನನ್ನು ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಆ ಭಾವದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಲಿಬಿಡೋಣ ಎಂದೂ ಸುಮ್ಮನಾದರೋ!!! "ಜನ್ಮಾಂತರ" ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ರೂವಾರಿಗಳೇ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.

ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೇರಕ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಅಂಬೆಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಟಾಪನೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿಶೇಷ.  ಶ್ರೀ ಪುರಂದರದಾಸರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ "ಜಗದೋದ್ಧಾರನ ಆಡಿಸಿದಳೇಶೋಧೆ" ಎನ್ನುವ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದರು ಎಂದೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಐತಿಹ್ಯ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೆ.  ತುಂಬಾ ಸೊಗಸಾದ ದೇವಾಲಯ. ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಾಪ್ರಮೇಯ , ಶ್ರೀ ಅರವಿಂದಾವಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳು ಇದೆ.

ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪಯಣ ಹೆರಿಟೇಜ್ ಗ್ರೇಪ್ಸ್ ವಯ್ನ್ ಯಾರ್ಡ್ಗೆ ಹೋದೆವು. ಮೈಸೂರ್ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚನ್ನಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಕದಂಬಂಗೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ಎಡ ತಿರುವು ಪಡೆದು ಸುಮಾರು ೩-೪ ಕಿ.ಮಿ.ಹಳ್ಳಿದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗಿ, ನಂತರ ಎಡ ಬದಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ಕಿ.ಮಿ.ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ವಯ್ನ್ ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ಘಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲು ೧೫೦/- ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು. ಸುಮಾರು ೨೦ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ದೃಶ್ಯಾವಳಿ, ಘಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸುತ್ತು, ಹಾಗೂ ರುಚಿ ನೋಡಲು ಐದು ಬಗೆಯ ವಯ್ನ್ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬೇಕಾದ ರುಚಿಯ ವಯ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು ಕೂಡ.

ಬರಿ ರುಚಿಯೊಂದನ್ನೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ವಯ್ನನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ಗ್ಲಾಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಹಿಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು (ಹೌದು ಪ್ರತಿ ವಿಧದ ವಯ್ನನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವಾಗ ಗ್ಲಾಸ್ ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ರೀತಿ ಬೇರೆ ಇರುತ್ತಂತೆ....ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋದಮೇಲೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಒಂದೇ...ಆದ್ರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವ ರೀತಿ ರಿವಾಜುಗಳು ನನ್ನತ ಮುಕ್ಕನಿಗೆ ತಮಾಷೆಯಾಗಿ ಕಂಡಿತು).

ಘಟಕದಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರವಾಸ, ಪರಿಸರ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ರೀತಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ರಸ ಮಾಡಿ, ವಯ್ನ್ ರೂಪಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.  ಕುಡಿಯದ ನನಗೆ ಇದರ ವಿವರಣೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ, ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತಸ ಎರಡೂ ನನಗೆ  ಮತ್ತನ್ನು ತಂದಿತ್ತು.

ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ನಾವು ಹೊರಟೆವು.

ಮೂರನೆಯದು ಅತಿ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಎತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ನೆಲಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲೇ ಬೆಳೆದು ತನ್ನ ರಸದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತಿನ ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸುವ ಘಟಕ..

ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಊಂಚೆ ಲೋಗ್ ಊಂಚೆ ಪಸಂದ್ ಎನ್ನುವ ಹಾಗೆ..ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೆಲ ಘಂಟೆಗಳು ಎತ್ತರ ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೆವು!!!

Revana Siddeshwara - Raamaprameya Temple - Heritage Grape Wine - 9th Sep 2012.

This is the trip where my 6th sense popped out!

Right from the day I planned for Sirsi trip, my heart triggered many SMS to me saying, you will not make it.  It happened, vehicle booked, list of members ready, packing almost done..then arrived the bolt from the blue...three members jumped out of the barrel  due to professional and personal commitments, my 6th sense started laughing out rather loudly at the corner of my heart!!!

When announcement made about the cancellation, Prashanth coined an idea, why should not we do a half day trip in the out"skirts" of Ramanagara!  

Prashanth, Sandeep, and myself found zipping on the mysore road at 7.00 in the morning hours on  Sunday 9th Sep 2012.

I was on top of Revanasiddeshwara Hill almost 20 years back, after that many attempts didn't materilise, so this time, after careful planning, we three were on the roll, and decided to make it to this hillock without any reasons.

Below the hillock there is a temple dedicated to Renukamba Devi.  The landscape impressed, and the temple as well, but not the priest, who found the newspaper more interesting than the devotees.

When we came out, few people near a small make shift shop cum hotel few people called us to tell the information about the place.  I asked them what, then they said, cameras are there with you people, thought you are from TV9...all of us had a big grin on our face, and nodded our head and said we are trekkers. 

A good cemented 300-400 meters of winding road will take you to Bheemeshwara temple,  and then the few steps, few steps like, and few straight path takes you to top of the hillock where you can see Revana Siddeshwara Temple. The history of this place says the saint Revanna Siddeshwara did a penance for over 700 years, and people still believe he is continuing in some near by place.

The beauty of Revanasiddeshwara Hill is you will get to see panoramic view of Ramanagara, channapattana , whereever you see you will find a projected earth trying to touch the clouds.  Superb place to spend a few hours there.

Too many monkeys will make sure you are on your toes all the time to take care of your belongings.  A big bell on top of the hillock overlooks the hillock. The greencap around the rocky terrain breathes fresh to the lungs.

Revana Siddeshwara had been sumitted with two legs, now the time for visiting Krishna in crawling position.  

When I parked my vehicle, and just turned around, I felt, hey I already visited this temple, and parked my vehicle exactly in the same place.  Probably a "Janmantara" program Anchor could tell me whether it is true or......coz this is the first time in my life I ventured in to this temple.

My Reincarnation moment!! 

The temple complex just amazes  you.  Seems to be very old more than 1000 years old temple, and the granite slab says "Sri Purandara Dasaru" wrote the famous "Jagadoddhaarana aadisidaleshodhe" song here.  A sense of relief, and re-energy started filling in me.  Nevertheless it is the Krishna Temple, and Krishna in any form always infuses strength and confidence in me .

After going back to the history and roaming around 1000 years  years back...slowly our souls set in the urban civilisation. Time to take a tour in Heritage Grapes Wine yard, where Grapes hanging in the yard can give kick....so that you will be in hangover for sometime.

A tour in this yard will burn your wallet to the extent of 150/- with a video of 20 minutes about the Wines, and its history, and also you can taste 5 different types of wines.  I was not interested in testing, but my other two mates tasted, and also learnt the minute things about how to handle the glass, drink, taste, the types of wines and all.

Was surprised when prashanth said, holding the glass also makes difference when sipping the wine, for that our tour guide explained further how it makes the difference. Superb information indeed.  

With all the explanation given by the tour guide,  who took us around the wine yard, I understood that, tasting the wine and handling a wife is the same..!!!!

A nice short, sweet, sour, bitter wine testing ended our rather extended trip, and we safely back to our Bengaluru by 3.30 in the noon.

Bullets:

1. Go to Revanasiddeshwara in herds, you will enjoy more.

2. Water will not be problem, as you will get water at the bottom, and middle, and top of the hillock.

3. Raamaprameya temple (Ambegaalu Krishna temple) check out with the priests inside, whether photography allowed (boards says no), and take a few glimpses, really worth burning few space in the memory card.

4. Heritage Grapes Wine Tour, go there if you are really interested in sipping few drops of wine, otherwise it is a whole in your wallet.

ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದೇಶ ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿದ್ದು,
ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾ ಖಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತವಾದದ್ದು
ಹೀಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕಲ್ಲು,  ಮಣ್ಣು, ನೀರು, ಗಾಳಿ ಎಲ್ಲವಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರದೇ ಆದ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯ, ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳು, ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ಓದುತ್ತ ಹೋದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮೈ ಮನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ  ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಜುಮ್ಮೆಂದಿತು...

ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ಘಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ೧೦೦೦ ವರುಷಕ್ಕು ಮಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಉಣಬಡಿಸಿದ ಸದಾ ನಗು ಮೊಗದ ಬಾಲು ಸರ್ ಅವರ ಲೇಖನಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಒಂದು ನಮನಗಳು...

ರಾಮದೇವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ..ಕಳೆದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಘಂಟೆಗಳು ..

"ಏನ್ ಶ್ರೀ...ನನ್ನ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲ....ಬರಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ  ಸುತ್ತಿ ಸುತ್ತಿ ಬೇಜಾರಿಗಿದೆ...ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ವರುಷದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಯಿತು...!!"

ಯಾಕೋ ನನ್ನ ಸಾರಥಿ ವಿಕ್ಟರ್ ನಾ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿ ಮನಸಿಗೆ ತಾಕಿತು..ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳೆಯ ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಹಾಗು ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್..ಭಾನುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬರೋಣ ಎಂದರು...ಸರಿ ರೇವಣ ಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಅಥವಾ ರಾಮಗಿರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟ..ಎರಡರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ತಾಕಲಾಟ ಶುರುವಾಯಿತು..ಕಡೆಗೆ ರಾಮಗಿರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಗೆದ್ದಿತು..

ನಮ್ಮ ಮೋಟರ್ ಸೈಕಲನ್ನು ವಾಹನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಒಂದೊಂದೇ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲನ್ನು ಹತ್ತುತ್ತ ಸಾಗಿದೆವು..ರಣಹದ್ದಿನ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿತ್ತು...ನಮ್ಮ ಅದೃಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ..ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಪಕ್ಷಿಯು ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ...ಆದ್ರೆ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯ ತಂಗಾಳಿ, ಮೋಡ ಕವಿದ ವಾತಾವರಣ...ಮನಸಿಗೆ ಹುರುಪು ತಂದಿದ್ದು ಸುಳ್ಳಲ್ಲ..

ಮೂರು ಗೆಳೆಯರಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ..ಮಾತಿಗೇನು ಕೊರತೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ...ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗೆಂದು ತನ್ನ ಮಾಮೂಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾ ಬಿಟ್ಟು..ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಚೊಕ್ಕ..ಪುಟಾಣಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾ ತಂದಿದ್ದ..ಅದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮಾಷೆ..ಕುಹಕ, ಗೇಲಿ ಮಾತು ಎಲ್ಲ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು...ಬಹಳ ಮಧುರ ಈ ಸ್ನೇಹದ ಲೋಕ...

ಸಂದೀಪ್ ನ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ತಮಾಷೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು, ಆಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತನ ಸರದಿ..ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಸೇರಿ ನನ್ನ..ಹೀಗೆ ಸಾಗಿತ್ತು...

ರಾಮ ಕಾಕುಸುರನ್ನು ನಿಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಥಳ ಈ ರಾಮ ಗಿರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟ...ಕಾಗೆಗಳು ಬಲು ಅಪರೂಪ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ...ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಅರ್ಚಕರು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು...

ಹನುಮ ದೇವರು, ಮಹಾದೇವ, ಹಾಗು ರಾಮ ದೇವರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಪಡೆದು..ತಂಪಾದ ತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೋಲ್ಲಾಸ ಹೊಂದಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದಾಗ...ಉದಯ ಟಿ.ವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ "ಇದು ಹಕ್ಕಿ ಅಲ್ಲ..ಆದ್ರೆ ಹಾರ್ತೈತಲ್ಲ ..." ಹಾಡು ಬರ್ತಾ ಇತ್ತು..ಮನಸು ಕೂಡ ಹಕ್ಕಿಯಾಗದಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೂಡ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ಹಾರುತ್ತಿತು..

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಂದ ಮೈಸೂರ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ನಲವತ್ತು ಕಿ.ಮಿ. ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಮದೇವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟ..ಸುಂದರವಾದ ತಾಣ..ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರು ಬಂದು ನಲಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ..ನಿಸರ್ಗ ಮಾತೆ..ಆರಾಮಾಗಿ ಸುಖ ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಉರಿಯುವ  ಬಾಣಲೆಯಿಂದ ತಂಪನ್ನು ಹಾಗು ಮನೋಲ್ಲಾಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಸ್ಥಳ..ಅಪರೂಪದ ಜಾಗ...

Gem of 4 Hours - Ramadevara Betta - Sholay Hills

The enthusiasm was completely dried..not even a single drop of it....

Just turned aside there found enough of energy spread across..

but question raised "how reach it out?", when we stranded with our hands folded..like...

Then came the inspiration..when sheep's and goat's can..why we can not..

With the thought in the mind..energy in the limbs...we were at the bottom of the cliff in no time..after starting from the Mysore road point at 7.30 on a Sunday morning

The weather was cool..wind blowing from all the directions..it proved to be perfect setting for a Sunday early morning small trek in the outskirts of Bengaluru. As I was regular for this place from the 1990's..but it posed different faces every time I step in to this small place of heaven nearer to busy bustling urban life.

The first blessings came in the form of Lord Hanuman, the priest narrated the significance of this place.  As Kaakasura (The Demon Crow) disturbed, and troubled Seetha Maatha, The Lord Rama decided to settle the score with Kakasura. But realising the might of Rama's Arrow, he apologized,  pleaded mercy..the kind hearted Rama blessed him, and in turn Kakasura promised the lord Rama that, he and his generation will never step in to this Hillock Rama Giri.  But due to the effect of Kaliyuga, the here and there we can see crow now.  But nevertheless mythology in any form is interesting.

Next stop of Lord Shiva, and then finally Lord Rama's blessings just evaporated our tiredness (was there any?) or ignited the lamp of enthusiasm to a greater extent.

We found few love blinders trying to celebrate birthday in the windy atmosphere.  Probably it is time to realise  that love blows the wind of emotion..and at the same time..love should be covered with care.  They tried hard to light the candle mounted on a cake..(since they asked us for the match box, we knew about the celebration!!!!)... but the wind was the winner all the way!!!...don't know what they did later... 

for a change..prashanth dropped his regular DSLR..and brought shoot at sight camera..and he was happy clicking all the way.  We made a good fun of that as well.

We reached the top of the cliff...raining clouds hovering around...wind at  its best pace...it provided a stunning landscape as far eyes can zoom in.  After a marathon photo session....comfortably reached our drawing room by 14.00 Hours in the noon.

An economical trip, where my sarathi TVS Victor was brimming with confidence, and energy level....where he drank about three liters of fuel, and also few calories for me, ended peacefully providing a perfect energy filled path for the week ahead.
